A night sure to be filled with laughter…
 On Saturday, February 9, 2008 the American Lung Association of Rhode Island held their 2nd annual comedy night, Laugh Your Lungs Off, at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, RI. The Headliner of the Comedy Night was Tony V., The Feature was Stephanie Peters and it was hosted by Ace Aceto. Come for a night filled with laughter, fun and prizes while supporting your local American Lung Association at the same time!

Asthma Walk Kick Off...
The Westin Providence hosted the kick off lunch for the American Lung Association’s 5th annual Asthma Walk. This event was held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from 11:45-1 p.m.

The 5th Annual Asthma Walk is being held on Saturday May 17, 2008! Walkers are needed, click here to register today! Registration for this event will start at 8 a.m. and the walk will begin at 9 a.m. at Roger Williams Park at the Temple to Music in Providence, RI. Wind up the Westin
The American Lung Association, in collaboration with The Westin Providence, invites athletes of all kinds to experience the climb of their life. For the first time, The American Lung Association of Rhode Island held a 52 flight stair climb inside the Westin Hotel in downtown Providence in December of 2007. Stair climbs have brought in great success all across the country from Boston to San Francisco, and challenged athletes to compete in an exciting, new sporting event.
